If you were watching Monday Night Football last night, you may have been confused when Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers disappeared into a mini tent (above)!
While the athlete could have been doing anything in the world during his private moment, there’s actually a pretty simple explanation — he wanted some privacy to drop trou!
Apparently, Aaron pulled his hamstring in the first quarter of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday and needed to get his leg wrapped up. Instead of dropping his pants in front of cameras, the Packer just wanted a little extra privacy!
After the game, Olivia Munn‘s BF addressed the odd situation saying:
“I just didn’t want to be getting taped up on the television. But obviously, when I walked out and saw the camera right in my face, I knew there was probably some sort of mini-story growing. But no, I had to drop my drawers a little bit to get taped up and just wanted to do [that] in the privacy of that tent.”
The team’s center, Corey Linsley, made light of the situation by joking:
“Maybe he just had to go.”
If you’re a football fan though and worried about the QB’s injury, he addressed what happened:
“I was a little tight in the first half for some reason. I don’t know if it was sitting around the last two weeks, these night games, when you do a lot of resting. I’ll be good to go, though.”
We’ll have to see how #12 does this week as he loosens his leg up, but next time you see a player go in a mini tent, keep your mind out of the gutter!
