Alright, alright, alright!
On Monday, Matthew McConaughey decided to lend his celebrity services to University of Texas students looking for a safe way to get home at night!
The A-lister ventured to his alma mater to give young knowledge-seekers a safe trip back to where they live, by driving them around in a campus cart.
It’s no Lincoln, but it’ll do.
The star’s safe chauffeur duties were in conjunction with the student government’s SURE Walk initiative, in which the Students United for Rape Elimination agency offers volunteer companions for anyone walking home from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
U of T’s student government took to Facebook to share a sweet snap showing the acclaimed actor carting around undergraduates and graduates alike (above), captioning the shot:
“Longhorns take care of each other, and it’s ‘safe’ to say Matthew McConaughey agrees. Don’t forget to use SURE Walk when traveling home late at night; you never know who might pick you up! #BeSafe #SafeChats”
And, they even filmed his driving duties! Watch HERE!
Good looking out, Matthew!
