We doubt Lil Twist is jumping for joy right now.
On Wednesday, the New Money rapper was sentenced to a year in prison after he pleaded no contest to several charges — including assaulting and robbing former Nickelodeon child star Christopher Massey. Whoa.
Not to mention, the 23-year-old was slapped with three years of probation. Hey that’s better than a longer jail sentence, right??
In case you forgot, Twist (AKA Christopher Lynn Moore) went to a bash at That’s So Raven alum Kyle Massey‘s house in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of El Lay back in 2014. It’s said, at the time, Twizzy F was asked to leave the party — which obviously upset the Love Affair artist as he returned (with four others) and broke into the Disney darling’s home.
To make matters worst, Twist proceeded to jump Kyle’s bro Christopher, beat him with brass knuckles, and stole several of his belongings. Oof.
This particular incident resulted in the Texas-born artist being charged with six felonies, including first-degree residential burglary, assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft, and first-degree robbery.
Although Moore is required to surrender himself by February 3, it’s believed the musician could be out of jail by August if he maintains good behavior. Huh, this explains why the hitmaker seemed pretty upbeat about his sentencing on Twitter (below).
