Trevor Noah RIPS Conservative Commentator Over ‘The Right Way’ For Black People To Protest! Watch The Heated Daily Show Interview!

With protests and vociferous social movements still going strong in the wake of the most divisive election in modern history, many might be wondering: why can’t we all just get along?

On Wednesday night, The Daily Show proved two ends of the political spectrum could have a civilized discussion without biting each other’s heads off.

However, that didn’t stop Trevor Noah from hurling a few barbs at conservative commentator Tomi Lahren in their contentious, but very enlightening interview!

For those who don’t know, Lahren has gained notoriety for her angry, right wing rants against Hillary Clinton and the mainstream media on Glenn Beck‘s online network.

In a wide ranging chat about the current sociopolitical climate, the two went head-to-head discussing race (Tomi insisted she doesn’t “see color”), Donald Trump, and the Black Lives Matter movement — which Lahren obnoxiously compared to the Ku Klux Klan!

But when Lauren explained she didn’t believe Colin Kaepernick was protesting “the right way” by kneeling during the national anthem, the Comedy Central host asked his opponent for an alternative suggestion, musing:

“When people say that, I’m always fascinated. What is the right way? So here is a black man in America who says I don’t know how to get a message across. If I march in the streets, people say I’m a thug. If I go out and I protest, people say that it’s a riot. If I bend down on one knee, then it’s not [the right way].”

Unfortunately, instead of philosophizing with Noah for a possible solution, Lahren kept on spewing out her beliefs about how kneeling during the national anthem offended her.

Ugh. You were SO close to being a little bit likable, girl!
