Alec Baldwin Shows Off His Adorable Family & Talks Impersonating Donald Trump During A ‘Very, Very Difficult’ Election

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin

Alec Baldwin clearly isn’t worried about Donald Trump hating the actor’s Saturday Night Live impersonation.

In a new interview with HOLA! magazine, the 58-year-old dished on his popular portrayal of the president-elect on the NBC show, plus his growing family with wife Hilaria Baldwin.

In the cover story featuring the couple’s daughter Carmen and sons Rafael and Leonardo, the 30 Rock alum says of his SNL gig:

“I’m glad people find it funny ├óΓé¼┬ª but at the same time, I think people were very worried about the election. Both sides are very passionate so it’s been a very, very difficult time in this country. I haven’t felt like this in a long, long time. There are bad feelings on both sides, so to have the opportunity to give people a chance to talk and laugh about it is a good thing.”

In such a disheartening campaign season, we must say that Alec’s performance — in addition to Kate McKinnon‘s amazing Hillary Clinton impersonation — was, and continues to be, a constant source of entertainment!

Switching gears, the comedian also opened up about falling in “love at first sight” with the mother of his three youngest kiddos at a New York restaurant:

“As far as love at first sight, it was for me, but I think a lot of people have fallen in love at first sight with Hilaria ├óΓé¼┬ª I’m in a long line of people in love with Hilaria, and for some strange reason, I won.”

So romantical!

Alec is also in the process of learning Spanish, as the yoga studio owner is a native of Mallorca, Spain and is raising their children to be bilingual. Amazing!

She told the mag:

“Carmen’s first language is Spanish. I only speak Spanish to her.”

Alec added:

“It’s really difficult to keep up. Maybe by the time I’m 90, I’ll nail it.”

Loves it!
