Rihanna Shuts Down Fan-Fueled Beyonc├â┬⌐ Feud: ‘We Don’t Need To Be Putting Black Women Against Each Other’

no title

Fans sure do love pitting their favorite stars against each other… and who better than celebs at the top of their game like Rihanna and Beyonc├â┬⌐?!

Too bad the Bajan babe isn’t having ANY of it as she recently cleared up some shady rumors!

After the Grammy Award nominations were announced Tuesday morning, one Instagram user noticed the Work singer liked one of their posts with a caption that shaded Queen Bey who landed nine nominations, one more than RiRi!

Seeing as how fans are currently upset the Umbrella songstress didn’t get more nods, several followers read into the “like” as her throwing shade Bey’s way!

“Congrats and all to @badgalriri and all for her 8 Grammy nods but tbh f*ck them because they snubbed her for Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Like how my n***a!? I think they didn’t want her tied or passing someone else *cough cough* [lemon emoji]. Cause if they wouldn’t have played her she would have been in the lead with the most Grammy nods. F*ck u Grammys, ANTI did amazing things this year and y’all played her. I think y’all shook!”

Inneresting…

Well, the 28-year-old took to the picture sharing site to comment on the photo and clear up any rumors of a feud!

Luckily, one eagle eyed IG user took a screengrab of the post and comment before it was taken down (below):

It reads:

“I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over! I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture! We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!”

Well that’s that!

We’re not sure that people were necessarily TRYING to pit black women against each other, but we’re glad it’s officially all good between the two.

Just please don’t stop the music!
