Holy chalupas!

While we already knew it was coming, Candace Cameron Bure confirmed our casting suspicions on Thursday when she revealed she is officially leaving The View.

Citing other professional responsibilities with Netflix and Hallmark Channel as her reason, D.J. Tanner parted ways with the ABC talk show amicably… but we’re not oblivious to the fact that this news comes mere HOURS before the Season 2 premiere of Fuller House!

Like castmates Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins, Candace already had a reduced role on the daytime series so far this season, so we guess Jedediah Bila, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines are here to stay!

In her exit announcement, the Full House actress thanked Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar for their expertise, saying:

“It’s a little bittersweet today because I’m announcing that I will be leaving The View. It wasn’t an easy decision — Before I started The View, I already had my commitments to Fuller House and the Hallmark Channel… Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows. I [also] want to make sure I’m able to spend enough time with my children. I thank everybody ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ Whoopi, Joy… for welcoming me to this table. I’ve learned so much from you and I’m so grateful for you.”

So, uhh… what about Paula Faris?

We have to say: it was nice getting to know a more moderate CCB for two seasons… but we’ll take her on Fuller House over The View any day!

Although, will U still watch without Candace Cameron Bure on the panel??
