She’s all about that rest!
Meghan Trainor tried her best to say No to seasonal illness, but performing non-stop seems to have caught up with her.
On Thursday, the pop star announced that she has been put on “strict vocal rest” for the next two weeks, and will not be performing for the rest of the year!
The songstress dropped the bombshell on Instagram, writing:
“I posted last week that I wasn’t feeling great, but was powering through the best that I could. Unfortunately, I am not feeling any better and after leaving the doctor today, I have been put on a strict vocal rest for the next two weeks.”
This means the 22-year-old’s remaining 2016 shows — which mostly include performing at Jingle Ball concerts — have been canceled. Oh no!!!
Trainor revealed she was “going to go home and rest” for the remainder of the holiday so she could star 2017 off with a bang.
Rest up, girl!!
