Donald Trump Took Aim At A Teen Girl On Twitter — Leading To Death & Rape Threats From His Supporters!

This is so incredibly upsetting.

Last year, then-18-year-old Lauren Batchelder questioned the way Donald Trump views gender equality and female reproductive rights during a bipartisan even in New Hampshire.

Afterward, the racist Republican took to Twitter to call her “arrogant.”

And in a new interview published on Thursday, the college student admitted that she received a ton of hateful messages — including death and rape threats — following the crybaby candidate’s digital tantrum.

The now-19-year-old explained to The Washington Post that she couldn’t have anticipated the kind of backlash she received, saying:

“I didn’t really know what anyone was going to do. He was only going to tweet about it and that was it, but I didn’t really know what his supporters were going to do, and that to me was the scariest part.”

During the forum back in October 2015, the Saint Anselm College student spoke up, calling into question the controversial candidate’s stance on women’s rights, saying:

“So, maybe I’m wrong, maybe you can prove me wrong, but I don’t think you’re a friend to women.”

The businessman tried to argue against her, saying:

“I love women, I respect women, I cherish women.”

But this wasn’t a settling answer for Lauren, because she took back the microphone, asking:

“I want to get paid the same as a man, and I think you understand that, so if you become president, will a woman make the same as a man, and do I get to choose what I do with my body?”

Trump replied:

“You’re going to make the same if you do as good of a job, and I happen to be pro-life, okay?”

And just in case his response wasn’t vomit-inducing enough, Donald also went on the status-sharing site to accuse the teen of being a plant for Republican rival Jeb Bush, posting:

It’s important to note Miz Batchelder was never Jeb’s staffer.

While she did volunteer for his campaign, she has always had liberal opinions, and later realized she is, in fact, a Democrat, and voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

In fact, former Bush spokesman Tim Miller denied the plant allegations, declaring:

“If I was going to plant a question, I would have planted a better question.”

The teenager also pointed out that theory didn’t make any sense, explaining:

“Why would they ever send me out to do a pro-choice question? Guys, [Bush] is pro-life, which was one of my biggest problems with the Republican Party. And so I was like: ‘Why would they ever send me to do that?'”

But logic is apparently lost on Trump supporters.

After Lauren’s in-person exchange with Donald, his director of social media posted pictures of her social media accounts, making her an easy target for the real estate mogul’s followers.

She told The Washington Post that she began to receive phone calls of sexual threats and equally disturbing notes on social media. An edited picture appearing to show her face covered in semen also began circling the ‘net.

And the harassment didn’t fizzle out last year.

Five days before the 2016 presidential election, the girl received a Facebook message that read:

“Wishing I could f*cking punch you in the face. id then proceed to stomp your head on the curb and urinate in your bloodied mouth and i know where you live, so watch your f*cking back punk.”

“I know where you live”?? That has to be illegal. No one should have to receive such terrifying, hateful messages.

And for what?! Rightfully calling Donald Trump out for not caring about women?!

Because Lauren is a private citizen — NOT a public figure — the repercussions of Trump’s tweets were particularly intense.

But even after all she’s been through, she is encouraging the President-Elect to change the way he uses social media, saying:

“Twitter is such a powerful platform. He can make a difference. He can change the world. And, using Twitter, I think he should use it for good. I think he should use it to uplift others.”

We won’t hold our breath…

What do U think of all this, Perezcious readers?
