T.J. Miller is getting placed on the naughty list this year!
On Thursday evening, the Silicon Valley star was arrested in Hollywood after he allegedly slapped his Uber driver. Not cool, man!
According to TMZ, the driver picked up Miller from the GQ Men Of The Year party and proceeded to bring the funny man home. However, upon arriving at the 35-year-old’s pad, the motorist claims the Deadpool actor slapped him in the head. But… why?
Obviously, the driver was pissed about the slap and called the cops on T.J. And while the police DID take the comedian into custody, the Uber employee didn’t have any visible signs of assault — making the incident a he said/he said case.
Well we guess that’s good news for T.J. Also this explains why the Big Hero 6 voice artist was released without having to post bail.
Reportedly, the industry vet had quite the night as he also stopped by the Vulture Awards bash at the Sunset Tower. Perhaps Teej hasn’t been able to shake off his Office Christmas Party character? Who knows.
It’ll be inneresting to see if Miller has to go to court over this ride-share snafu AND if he addresses this mess during his Critics’ Choice Awards hosting duties.
