Ryan Gosling is living his dream right now.

The La La Land star, who is featured on the cover of GQ for January 2017, opened up to the mag about his new movies, his growing family, and yes, even getting punched in the face by his “hero” Harrison Ford.

Go on!

When it comes to his relationship with Eva Mendes, the 36-year-old gushed:

“Eva’s the dream mother, and they’re dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now. I’m dreaming it all. So I feel so lucky.”

He went on to describe becoming a father:

“Your whole life, you hear what it’s like to have kids, and all the clich├â┬⌐s are true. I felt I knew that everything would be different, but until you experience that, there’s no way to really know what people mean.”

“It’s not something I really thought about, or even thought I wanted. I didn’t have a romanticized idea of it.├óΓé¼┬ª It came about in a very surprising and kind of organic way. There was nothing kind of premeditated about it, you know. It just suddenly was: My life had changed. And thank God it did … When you meet your kids you realize that they deserve great parents. And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person that they deserve.”

As you may know, his newest musical flick alongside Emma Stone is likely to be the darling of award season, and it certainly took Ryan back to his Disney days of song and dance… when he admits he used to “shake it like a showgirl” as the only boy in his troupe. Ha!

The Notebook star also opened up about getting to work with Indiana Jones himself for the upcoming movie, Blade Runner 2049.

He told the outlet the story of how the 74-year-old slugged him in the money maker while on set:

“We were just doing a fight scene and, you know, it just happened. But what was funny was, when it was over, they brought ice for my face, and Harrison pushed me out of the way and stuck his fist in the ice. I asked him the other day where he got his sense of humor from — was it from his mother or his father? He said, ├óΓé¼╦£Sears.’ And he didn’t have much time to shop around so he just had to grab one and get out.”

Ryan continued:

“He came by afterward with this bottle of scotch, and I thought, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, I knew this was coming.’ And he pulled out a glass from his pocket, poured me a glass, and walked away with the rest of the bottle. So I guess he felt like he didn’t connect enough to earn a whole bottle. You know, they say don’t meet your heroes, but I would say the addendum to that is ├óΓé¼╦£├óΓé¼┬ªunless they’re Harrison Ford.’ ‘Cause he’s a cool motherf*cker.”
