EXCLUSIVE! O-Town’s Jacob Underwood Teams With Hot Newcomer Chandler Bay — And We Have The Premiere Of Their First Ever Music Video!

Jacob Underwood has traded those hunky guys from O-Town for a sexy brand new star named Chandler Bay!

In case you haven’t heard it, the duo chose Gnash‘s emotional i hate u, i love u as the soundtrack to their coming out party, and between Chandler’s smoky tone and Jacob’s perfect harmonizing, it’s one tight cover.

And we have the exclusive premiere of their first music video!

Video: EXCLUSIVE! Dream Performs An Acoustic Version Of Their Hit He Loves U Not!

This is just the beginning for Jacob and Chandler. After some industry interest in what was supposed to be a fun one-off, the pair are exploring the side project even more!

So how did these two kids start making music together??

Jacob revealed the kismet in their meeting:

“I found Chandler Bay singing in a bar in Nashville and knew I had to get her in the studio immediately. First, we did a Chainsmoker cover, then a radio DJ friend of mine, Frankie V. for Jammin 95.7 in San Diego, had the idea for Chandler and I to do this Gnash duet, so we went right in the studio to see how we’d sound together. Chandler is an inspiring talent with an absolutely incredible voice. I don’t think either of us expected our voices to blend as well as they did, and it’s started us talking about doing more songs together in the future. I think it’d be a smart move :)”

But he wasn’t the only one who felt the “magic” — Chandler said:

“Working with Jacob gives me a confidence and comfortability I hadn’t found working with past producers or artists. When we first talked about doing a duet I was unsure how our voices would blend, but when I heard the final product there were moments I honestly couldn’t tell us apart.
I think we found some magic while we recorded this one, and I think this is only the beginning of us making music together!”

Ch-ch-check out the video for i hate u, i love u (above) and get ready to hear a lot more from these two!

(Oh, and don’t worry — O-Town’s next album is still on target for early 2017!)
