And the financial hits keep comin’ for Tori Spelling.
According to TMZ, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her man are being sued by City National over a pretty massive loan the twosome took out in 2012. Reportedly, the duo was granted a $400,000 loan from the bank, but ended up defaulting on it. Yikes!
The bank claims in their lawsuit that the famous couple have an open tab of about $188,000 since, as of December 2, the McDermotts haven’t paid their latest bill per the agreement of their loan. Plus all of the interest and late fees aren’t helping either!
To make matters worse, City National wants Tori to pay back the $17,000 she overdrew in September from her checking account. How do you overdraw $17K??
Although we’re not sure when City National will actually get their money back, since American Express has come after the pregnant starlet TWICE in the last year — once for $37,981.97 and another time for $87,594.55.
Between the fifth little one on the way and their recent move, we doubt this latest financial hiccup is a welcomed surprise. Not to mention, the holidays are right around the corner and the couple have A LOT of kids to buy presents for. We wish them luck and hope they can turn around their woes in 2017!
