After an incredible career in Hollywood, it seems it was a heart attack that killed beloved actress and socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor.
As you may recall, the Moulin Rouge star passed away earlier this month after dealing with countless health issues over the years. While it was initially believed a heart attack was Zsa Zsa’s demise, TMZ confirmed the reports on Tuesday by getting their hands on the Hungarian-born celeb’s death death certificate.
According to the media site, Miz Gabor suffered from a cerebrovascular accident (also known as a stroke), and then fell into a coma where she went into cardiopulmonary arrest at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. The document also states coronary artery disease and cerebral vascular disease played contributing factors in her death. She was 99-years-old.
Like we said, this wasn’t the late beauty’s first struggles with her health. Back in 2002, Zsa Zsa went into a coma for several days after she was in a car accident. Not to mention she survived two strokes, one in 2005 and the other in 2007. In 2011, the OG celebutante had her right leg amputated.
Unfortunately by 2016, her health had not gotten better as, back in February, she suffered from a feeding tube induced lung infection. Oof.
At least the megastar can now rest in peace. We miss you, girl!
