The Kardashian-Jenner family is DEFINITELY in the spirit of giving!
On Wednesday, Justin Mayo, executive director of Red Eye — a non-profit organization that aims to empower and support the artistic talents of those in need — posted on Instagram that he received a generous donation from the KUWTK stars!
The reality TV brood donated 100 gourmet meals to those on Skid Row, an area of Downtown Los Angeles with a large population of homeless people.
Got a Christmas call from Jenner / Kardashian Home saying they wanted to donate some food… 100 gourmet chef prepared meals for those on Skid Row. No publicity. No press release. Simply an amazing family loving their city. They had no clue I’d post this but I felt people should see this side of their hearts. The meals consisted of fine meats, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gingerbread cookies, and frosted snacks. YUM!
According to Justin:
“Their whole family continues to do amazing acts of generosity with our charity Red Eye without ever notifying anyone… I simply spoke of such because I feel it would be good for people to see this side of this amazing family.”
Additionally, this isn’t the first time the KarJenners have donated to the charity.
“This is not even close to the first time they have contributed to those on Skid Row or the kids Red Eye mentors every week in Watts over the past 10 years… If it wasn’t for this family’s generosity of over $50,000 in new product for the women, events like Red Eye’s 10 year tradition of such would not be possible.”
We greatly applaud the entire family for their generosity towards such a good cause!
