This holiday season hasn’t been the easiest as we’ve had to say goodbye to stars like George Michael, Carrie Fisher, and Debbie Reynolds.

With so many celebs and friends taking to Twitter and Instagram to pay their respects to the artists, Chris Martin decided to honor the Wham! singer in the best way possible — with a song!

Just days after Michael passed away on Christmas Day, the Coldplay singer stopped by a London’s Crisis Center homeless shelter to sing Last Christmas on Wednesday.

Martin of course brought his guitar along as he sang with another man, only known as Kevin — and it’s all on video!

Ch-ch-check out the sweet tribute that the center posted to Facebook (below) and let us know what you think of Chris’ act of remembrance!

Not only is this such a sweet tribute thanks to the Last Christmas cover, but we’re SURE George would have loved Chris’ charitable act seeing as how the 53-year-old was EXTREMELY giving himself!

In fact, Gwyneth Paltrow‘s ex even stuck around with GF Annabelle Wallis to help the people staying at the center!

A volunteer took to IG to write:

“That moment when Coldplay’s Chris Martin drops into the Crisis at Christmas shelter, with no fuss, no fanfare and no press, to help make tea and coffee and also play guitar so guests can have a sing song. Thank you for coming down and getting stuck in.”

What do you think of Martin’s sweet act?
