A big win for the Jackson family.
As we reported, Sky Arts decided to pull the episode of Urban Myths where Joseph Fiennes portrays Michael Jackson. The casting decision was greatly criticized by the King of Pop’s family, including daughter Paris Jackson who found it to be “insulting” and made her “want to vomit.”
On Friday, the 18-year-old took to Twitter to share her thoughts about the news. She wrote:
i’m surprised the family’s feelings were actually taken into consideration for once, we all really do appreciate it more than y’all know. https://t.co/MdOZgP3tD7

Additionally, family members T.J. Jackson and Taj Jackson posted their two cents as well.
Thank you to everyone who made their voices heard. As I said it wasn’t comedy, it was mockery with no taste. A great victory for his legacy! pic.twitter.com/SfcPqAVguy

Thank you to the fans, you continue to fight for my Uncle Michael’s legacy. And thank you to the media, for covering the extreme backlash.

R.I.P. Michael. You were truly a one-of-a-kind artist.
