Finally, the weekly presidential TV reviews are in again!!
On Saturday, the NBC late night show made its 2017 return with a cold open featuring Alec Baldwin reprising his parody of Trump in a sketch about the President-elect’s recent press conference.
The hilarious sketch made a steady stream of references to the latest scandalous report about Trump, claiming the bronzed businessman is being blackmailed by Russia and is into “pee pee parties.”
SNL forecasted Trump’s reaction in Felicity Jones‘ monologue when Tina Fey showed up as a Princess Leia-esque hologram to give the first time host some tips, quipping:
“No matter how it goes. the President of the United States will say that it’s sad and overrated.”
And lo and behold, Leia Fey was right — on Sunday, the incoming POTUS shared his unsurprising thoughts about SNL‘s return episode on Twitter:
.@NBCNews is bad but Saturday Night Live is the worst of NBC. Not funny, cast is terrible, always a complete hit job. Really bad television!

How did Trump expect to win and NOT get more SNL time? The President gets made fun of on SNL, Donald! It’s a tradition that goes back 40 years, all the way to Chevy Chase‘s terrible Gerald Ford impression.
Think of it as SNL‘s golden rule…
Do YOU think the President-elect will EVER stop tweeting about sketch comedy?
