Trump’s Inauguration Fireworks Seem To Have Paid Tribute To BFF Vladimir Putin!

Well, at least someone’s celebrating…

So far, Donald Trump‘s inauguration is going pretty much the way we expected: a rousing speech taken straight from the mouth of a supervillain, a tearful goodbye from Barack Obama, and a collective sigh of “oh shit” from the entire country.

But last night, many speculated that Trump’s good old pals from Russia decided to make a cameo — and perhaps give a not-so-subtle wink that America just got Rick Rolled HARD by Vladimir Putin.

On Thursday night, a spectacular fireworks display celebrating Trump’s presidency caught attention on social media. Not for it’s majestic beauty, but because the pyrotechnics appeared to spell out “USR” instead of “USA”!

The questionable display ignited Twitter in a frenzy of conspiracy theorists claiming that Putin had “hacked” the show that and the letters stood for “United States of Russia.”

Others joked that the fireworks spelled out a version of the old acronym for the Soviet Union, USSR. Either way, people are definitely taking this as a flaming wink from Vlad.

Sure, fireworks are volatile and (we assume) don’t always stay in perfect form — but after all the “fake news” from U.S. intelligence agencies alleging the Nation State influenced the election to help Trump win, social media users just couldn’t let this eerie mishap slide.

Do YOU think Russia hacked the fireworks? See more photos (below)!

We’re fucked, America.
