Mexico’s President Abruptly CANCELS Meeting With Donald Trump After That Horrific Interview!

Enrique Peña Nieto just got suuuppppeeerrr busy all of the sudden.

This week, Donald Trump announced he would be going forward with his plans to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border “as soon as possible,” reiterating that Mexico would indeed still foot the bill.

While the initial building costs would come out of the pockets of U.S. taxpayers, the orange POTUS insisted Mexico would reimburse them with complicated (and unexplained) payment plans.

Trump went as far to say if Mexico DIDN’T pay for the wall, they may as well go ahead and cancel the very important meeting he had with them schedule for next week, sharing on Twitter:

Well, the Mexican President wasn’t having Trump’s schoolyard bullying tactics — because Pe├â┬▒a Nieto straight up canceled the meeting himself!

On Thursday, the 50-year-old announced he would not be attending next week’s scheduled meeting with Drumpf, tweeting:

“This morning we have informed the White House that I will not attend the meeting scheduled for next Tuesday with the POTUS.”

Well, we can’t really blame him!

Pe├â┬▒a Nieto did not see a need to cancel his trip as of earlier this week, but reiterated Wednesday night that he definitely wasn’t funding any border wall. He said in a video statement:

“Mexico does not believe in walls. I’ve said time again; Mexico will not pay for any wall.”

Peña Nieto is holding off on the next steps until he receives a final report from his top officials in Washington.

As for Trump, we’re sure he’ll continue to bark his alternative facts about how Mexico is still picking up the tab.
