Trumpmerica Uber Alles: High School Students Shock With Nazi Salutes & Shouts Of ‘Heil Trump!’

no title

This is not a good look for us, America.

Whether you like to believe it or not, Donald Trump‘s racist rhetoric is rubbing off on citizens in all corners of the country (or just removing the facade of decency — damn, we just depressed ourselves).

But it’s the awakening of white nationalist millennials — living in both red states and blue btw — that we find the most troubling.

Earlier this week, a group of Texas high school students gave the Nazi salute and shouted “Heil Hitler” and “Heil Trump” while their class photo was being taken.

The Cypress Ranch High School senior class lined up to have their picture taken outside on Tuesday, and agreed on taking a serious photo followed by a funny one.

After the first photo was taken, about 70 students put their hands in the air and performed what appeared to be the offensive gesture (pictured above).

An anonymous student said it was “pretty terrifying” when students began yelling things like “Heil Hitler” and “Heil Trump,” telling local press:

“Most people may think it was just kids joking around but in the current political climate and the fact these kids are seniors in high school, it’s beyond unacceptable.”

But this seemingly jokey, president-approved white nationalism is a lot less innocent when it’s hurled at an individual — which was the case last week at a New Jersey high school basketball game.

During a game between Dover High School and Jefferson High School last Friday, the Jefferson fans shouted racially charged comments at a black Dover basketball player, as well as yelling “Build the wall” during pregame warmups.

In video footage of the game, a small but loud section of the Jefferson crowd can be heard shouting “Ashy knees” as a black student player took foul shots:

Ironically taking place on American pride night, many Dover parents were upset by the chants — believing that the Jefferson fans wanted to disrespect Dover, which has a large Hispanic and African-American population.

The fact that this hate is spreading all over the country makes us sick — especially since this behavior is being perpetuated by the president.
