Kellyanne Conway Drops Her Own Alternative Facts About The ‘Bowling Green Massacre’ That Never Happened!

no title

Kellyanne Conway has quite the active imagination!

Donald Trump‘s senior adviser showcased her creativity in a TV interview on Thursday by making up tragic events that never happened.

POTUS’s verbal garbage disposal was defending the immigrant ban to MSNBC‘s Chris Matthews by — what else? — saying that Barack Obama did the same thing!

And because Trump’s administration is all about performance over professionalism, the 50-year-old’s response was full of alternative facts — or as we like to say: total and complete bullshit!

She said on Hardball:

“I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. It didn’t get covered.”

Noooo girl. Just… no.

Here are the ACTUAL facts: Obama never banned the Iraqi refugee program after the 2011 incident. The former president’s administration just delayed in processing Iraqi refugees while immigration and security agencies re-screened over 58,000 Iraqi refugees.

This policy was prompted by two Iraq refugees who were living in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and had been involved in roadside bombing attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq.

Which means the “Bowling Green massacre” never actually happened.

Conway clarified her remarks, saying she meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists” instead of “massacre,” sharing on Twitter:

Ah, someone must have mixed up her bank of fear-injecting vocab words. We understand, girl. It’s hard to keep your facts straight when half of them are alternative!

Or maybe “massacre” was on Conway’s brain because that’s how critics would describe Trump’s presidency so far?
