South Park Isn’t Going To Make Fun Of Trump Anymore! But WHY???

Matt and Trey are putting a moratorium on Trump jokes.

Say it ain’t so!

Beloved South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have revealed in a new interview with ABC News that they will no longer be making fun of Donald Trump in the Comedy Central hit’s upcoming 21st season, after basing a ludicrous character off him last season.

And their reason why may very well surprise you!

Stone explained:

“It feels like it’s going to be more difficult. We’re having our head blown off like everybody else.”

Meanwhile, Parker elaborated:

“They’re already going out and doing the comedy. It’s not something you can make fun of. It’s tricky and it’s really tricky now as satire has become reality. We were really trying to make fun of what was going on [last season] but we couldn’t keep up. What was actually happening was way funnier than anything we could come up with. So we decided to just back off and let [politicians] do their comedy and we’ll do ours.”

Fair enough. Although we will miss their razor-sharp wit and hilarious observations.

Even though Trump inadvertently makes fun of himself on a daily basis, it was still so fun to watch professional comedians tear him a new one.

Also, we think everyone should have their voices heard now more than ever, to really let Drumpf know that his policies have no place in American democracy.

Stone and Parker’s take on Trump and his minions’ idiocy will be sorely missed.
