Is this dude for real??
Today, Donald Trump held a joint news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the White House — which is “very famous,” by the way — before the two are set to head to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort for the weekend in Florida to hopefully salvage our diplomatic relationship.
The world watched patiently to see if Drumpf could actually put on his big boy pants and have a civil conversation with leaders from other countries, especially our allies.
Meanwhile, Abe hoped to ease fears stemming from POTUS’ critical campaign trail rhetoric.
So what happened?
Well, things of course couldn’t get started until The Donald welcomed Shinzo to the “Very Famous White House,” because you know, it’s VERY famous… compared to other white houses that we talk about all the time.
It didn’t take long for the Internet to blow up with responses to Donny’s latest embarrassment, so let’s take a look at Twitter‘s best reactions (below)!!!
Welcome Shinzo Abe to the very famous White House. It’s very very famous. And white. And it is a house. Very very house.
He’s a wordsmith.

“I’d like to welcome you to the very famous White House.” Trump might as well have ended it with “…the home of the Whopper.”
