Disney Has Officially Kicked PewDiePie To The Curb!

pewdiepie dropped by disney

We’ve said it and we’ll say it again… PewDiePie is the WORST.

And it seems as though Disney agrees with us as they’ve just cut their professional ties with the controversial YouTuber (whose real name is Felix Kjellberg). Why?

Apparently, the executives over at Disney’s Maker Studios weren’t psyched about how the 27-year-old had some videos which featured antisemitic content. Ugh.

It’s said the conglomerate’s decision to end their “affiliation” with Mr. Kjellberg came from one particular video from January 11, where the gamer hired two men to hold a sign which read “Death to All Jews.” So disgusting. While Felix has reportedly since taken down the video himself, it appears the damage to his image is too far gone.

A spokesperson from Disney explained:

“Although Felix has created a following by being provocative and irreverent, he clearly went too far in this case and the resulting videos are inappropriate. Maker Studios has made the decision to end our affiliation with him going forward.”

Snap! Snap! Still, Felix isn’t bothered by all of the controversy surrounding him, since he took to Tumblr on Sunday to clarify (below) his seemingly antisemitic vid.

Hmmmm, okay — but that still doesn’t explain why NINE of your videos from August 2016 to now have antisemitic jokes or imagery related to Nazism. Tsk, tsk!

We bet the heads at Disney are just kicking themselves right about now. In case you forgot, the entertainment juggernaut’s digital studio collaborated with PewDiePie to create a 10 episode series for YouTube Red, called Scare PewDiePie.

We’re just about ready for the so-called comedian to be blacklisted from the industry entirely. Do YOU agree?
