Leave Britney alone, people.
The paparazzo who was attacked by Britney Spears with an umbrella during her well-documented 2007 breakdown is now attempting to auction off said umbrella.
Daniel Ramos says he’s willing to donate half of the proceeds to a charity of Britney’s choice, though Brit’s camp has made no comment and probably never will.
In an interview with Broadly, Ramos recalled the infamous night, saying:
“It was a bad moment in her life. Unfortunately it was captured.”
The paparazzo also gave some background on that evening, saying he didn’t know what Britney was going through but he could sense something was not right:
“She knew us already from being out in the streets. We didn’t know [something was wrong]. We were just going on a daily basis until we figured out what was happening at the time was not good. At the Mobil gas station [on the night of the umbrella incident], I told her I was worried about her.”
Ramos had also briefly put the umbrella alongside his Ford Explorer on eBay in July 2007, before removing the listing.
It’s been such a long time since the incident that it seems pointless to rehash it all now. Britney has come a long way and we think it’s better to just leave all that stuff behind instead of forcing her to remember such a dark time.
This paparazzo is doing her a disservice.
What do YOU think, Perezcious readers???
