Cannibal Teen Says He Was Trying To Escape ‘Demon-Like Figure’ In Shocking Unaired Dr. Phil Interview!

The story of Austin Harrouff, the “cannibal teen” who allegedly murdered and partially ate a couple in Tequesta, Florida after ingesting household chemicals, never gets any easier to stomach.

And this unaired Dr. Phil interview is only creeping us out even more!

The families of victims John Stevens and Michelle Mischon weren’t happy about the interview being pulled at the last minute last October, as they thought it was clear evidence he was faking his insanity defense.

We… aren’t so sure.

Over the course of the 22-minute conversation, released by prosecutors on Tuesday morning, Harrouff admits to thinking he had superpowers and says he was being chased by a “demon-like figure” named “Daniel” before the murders.

Eesh. It’s like something out of a Creepy Pasta. He tells Dr. Phil:

“Right when I saw him I panicked and tried to get help… When I saw him, it wasn’t like a clear person, it was a dark figure because it was, like, pitch black outside and I couldn’t really see. But I heard his voice distinctly and, like, when I saw him I just got scared out of my mind.”

The “out of his mind” part we definitely believe.

How running from a scary figure led to cannibalism we still have no idea. And according to Harrouff, neither does he. He says:

“At the end, I remember saving a dog and hijacking their car and then it’s a blur.”

Harrouff refused to answer questions about the events in the garage past a certain point but does say he is now ashamed of his actions, telling the victims’ families:

“I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me, and I’m so sorry and I never wanted this to happen. I’m so sorry.”

Do YOU think the cannibal teen is hiding something?
