Flip or Flop is expanding its market!
Amid a very public divorce between original stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa, the HGTV home renovation series will be adding FIVE spin-offs!
According to Us Weekly, the Southern California-set home makeover show will expand to Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Texas, and Las Vegas in 2017 and 2018!
Allison Page, general manager for U.S. programming and development for HGTV, Food Network, and Travel Channel said in a statement:
“Because every market is unique, there was an opportunity to highlight what works in various regions by featuring successful people in different locations who had mastered the art of flipping in their town.”
Tarek and Christina will pass the torch to other real-estate pros for each of the spinoffs — the first of which to premiere will be Flip or Flop Las Vegas.
Bristol and Aubrey Marunde (pictured above), the hosts of the Sin City edition, have flipped homes for nearly a decade — and each stay in their lanes when it comes to the makeover process.
34-year-old Aubrey explained the “glam” she brings to the table:
“I bring in a lot of chandeliers and lighting and hardware and things that take the properties over the top.”
The Aubrey’s MMA fighter husband said the couple avoids arguments by sticking to what they know, adding:
“Aubrey lets me do the construction, and I let her do the design├óΓé¼┬ª She loves crystals.”
A couple who flips together… doesn’t always stick together, but here’s to hoping HGTV history doesn’t repeat itself with the Marunde’s.
Catch the new couple in action when Flip or Flop Las Vegas premieres on April 6 at 9 p.m. EST on HGTV!
The Atlanta edition is set to premiere this summer; Nashville and Texas are scheduled to follow in February 2018. No date has been set for the Chicago spinoff.
