In case you didn’t have three hours of your life to spare to watch The Bachelor on Monday night — we’ve got all you need to know!
The first hour was dedicated to Nick Viall‘s fantasy suite dates in Finland with his final three ladies: Rachel, Vanessa, and Raven.
Ultimately, Rachel (you know, who has already been dubbed as the next Bachelorette) was sent home in the cold (no, really, they didn’t even let her grab her jacket) — leaving Vanessa and Raven to fight for the final rose next week.
Nothing too shocking happened other than Raven may or may not have gotten her first-ever orgasm, and Vanessa and Nick argued over where they’ll live after the show. Minor details…
Now, for the part you’ve all been waiting for.
The next two hours of the episode were dedicated to the Women Tell All — where all of Nick’s castaways came back with vengeance to spill all the tea. Yas!
Here’s what you need to know:
— Villains Corinne and Taylor went AT IT pretty much the entire episode arguing over who offended who first — and more importantly, who napped more.
Taylor continued to rub her education in everyone’s faces and was desperately seeking an apology from Corinne, who refused to deliver one. She even got up midway through an argument to grab a glass of champagne backstage. Iconic.
Corinne also took the opportunity to say that there’s more to her having a nanny than meets the eye.
— Liz (you know, the one that slept with Nick at Jade and Tanner‘s wedding before coming on the show) was SERVING up some serious girl power.
She tearfully said while on the hot seat:
“People who matter to me the most just love and accept me for who I am. Despite my past ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ that does not define who you are. Despite your future, who you choose to be every single day when you wake up ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ you deserve to be fought for. You are worthy of love. It doesn’t matter your shape, it doesn’t matter your sexual past, it doesn’t matter what you have done. You deserve a man who loves you for who you are and who’s going to fight for you.”
Later, after hearing Kristina‘s story about coming to America from Russia as a young girl (we’ll get to that in a sec), Liz reminded the group that none of this reality TV bullshit even matters:
“People here don’t understand how we’re born into such privilege. And the fact that we’re up here arguing…women especially in these times should be building each other up, not tearing each other down.”
— Back to Kristina.
The beauty opened up (again) about her heartbreaking story of growing up in poverty — and eating lipstick — in Russia, before she had to leave everyone in her orphanage behind to “live a life in color” in America. She cried, all the contestants cried, the audience cried, and we were definitely crying, too.
— Our new Bachelorette Rachel faced Nick for the first time since the breakup, and all we have to say is, GOOD RIDDANCE. We can’t wait for the Dallas attorney to have her own shot at this thing.
Will U be tuning into the finale on March 13 at 8/7c on ABC???
