Tori Spelling is definitely in over her head!
In case you forgot, back in December the bank sued Miz Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, for not paying back in full the $400K loan they issued to the couple in 2012. And it seems as though CNB is done waiting for their money, as DailyMail.com reports, they’ve issued a default judgment against the twosome for $188,000. Eek!
To make matters worse, the bank also wants the $17,000 Tori allegedly overdrew from her checking account. According to court records, Tori:
“caused her account to be overdrawn in the amount of $17,149.09. The defendant has not paid back the overdraft.”
Man, oh man. If granted this judgement, the bank will be legally allowed to take ownership of some of Tori and Dean’s assets. Intense stuff.
Currently, Mr. and Mrs. McDermott are renting a 4,714-square-foot home which is located in a gated El Lay community. It’s said this pad is costing them around $9,500/a month.
The lovebirds have been riddled with financial problems for sometime, as just last week, Dean narrowly avoided jail time over the unpaid spousal support he hadn’t given his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace. Reportedly, the Chopped Canada host gave Miz Eustace $2,500 in cash and is planning on giving her another payment on April 1.
Oh, and let’s not get into the crazzzzy tax lien and credit card debt these two have as well. Let’s just say, we feel badly for Tori and Dean’s kids — because it MUST be stressful at home right now.
