Shailene Woodley Reaches Plea Deal, Avoids Jail Time Over Dakota Access Pipeline Protests

Some good news for Shailene Woodley.

The activist actress has reached a plea deal over her involvement with protests over the Dakota Access Pipeline. She will not be doing any jail time.

The 25-year-old was one of 27 protesters arrested on October 10, 2016 in North Dakota. You may recall she livestreamed her arrest on Facebook.

Per the plea deal, Shailene will plead guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct, serve a year of unsupervised probation, and forfeit $500 bond.

All that remains is for a judge to approve the agreement.
