Patricia Arquette accepted GLAAD‘s Vanguard Award last night at the organization’s 28th annual Media Awards, and during her moving acceptance speech, she paid tribute to her late sister Alexis, who passed away due to AIDS complications in September.

Patricia didn’t hold her emotions back in a very moving speech, and in it, she even called out Attorney General Jefferson Sessions for his lack of apparent care about LGBT and transgender victims of violent crime.
