Apollo Nida’s New Fianc├â┬⌐e Makes Her RHOA Debut & Spills The Tea On Their Surprise Engagement!

Apollo Nida has truly found love in a hopeless place!

Although the RHOA star is currently serving time behind bars for fraud, he’s still managed to get engaged… even though his marriage with Phaedra Parks is still technically a thing.

Sherien Almufti made her big debut on Sunday’s episode, when she attended the opening of Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker‘s new restaurant in place of her incarcerated lover. Gasp!

Obviously, this was shocking for everyone, considering Tucker had only heard she existed hours earlier.

Before her moment, the mother-of-one told Us Weekly she’s actually been friends with Nida since 2013, but things got serious after he went to prison:

“I think the night we took him away [to prison] I felt something completely different. Like, we’ve experienced something, you know. He cried on my shoulder. We held [each other] for a while. I just let him know ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I told him as a friend ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ ├óΓé¼╦£I’m gonna be there for you.’ See, he was there for me, as well. ├óΓé¼┬ª So I, in return as a friend first, before anything else, I told him I was gonna be there for him. Because I watched how a lot of people kind of just turned their backs on him.”

But she promises nothing happened until after his relationship with Parks was over:

“I was married before and my husband cheated on me. And at the same time, I was actually dating someone. So I wasn’t like ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it wasn’t that way. It was just more ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it started out as a business situation.”

As for when Nida popped the big question, Miz Almufti said:

“He just held my hand and he asked and I didn’t think he was serious and I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£What? This is not how I obviously imagined you asking me to marry you, but OK.’ But, yeah, it was unexpected. But he did promise me a different proposal ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a different setting.”

Hmmm… Romantic! Potentially…
