What a big win for Gordon Ramsay!
On Tuesday, the MasterChef star’s father-in-law admitted to hacking into the 50-year-old’s computer in order to get dirt on the A-lister. Chris Hutcheson double crossed the celebrity chef after he was fired from running the business operations of Ramsay’s restaurant empire.
And the 68-year-old isn’t the only member of his family to admit to hacking into Gordon’s computer. Specifically, Hutcheson’s grown sons, named Adam and Chris Jr., pled guilty after being arrested under Operation Tuleta. While Chris’ daughter Orlanda was also implicated in the crime, she’s since denied the charge.
What’s sad about this whole situation is that Gordon used to be incredibly close to his father-in-law. In fact, the Hell’s Kitchen celeb once said he and Chris were “inseparable.”
Nonetheless, things took a messy turn in 2010 when Ramsay accused Hutcheson of hacking into his private emails and embezzling roughly $1.7 million from his businesses. Ramsay also accused Chris of stealing the money in order to pay for his womanizing ways.
At the time, Hutcheson denied the accusations and sued his son-in-law for unfair dismissal and unpaid wages. Oh, and he also called Gordon a fame obsessed “monster.” Ouch.
So the father-of-four is probably feeling pretty validated right about now. It’ll be inneresting to see what happens to the Hutcheson clan as they each now face up to two years in prison. Eek!
