Meet Fox News‘ newest token sexist!
It seems like the network can’t go a day without one of their TV personalities making headlines for saying something derogatory about women. Smh.
On Tuesday evening, Jesse Watters seemingly made a nasty joke about Ivanka Trump while discussing her appearance at a women’s economic conference in Germany. Bill O’Reilly‘s prot├â┬⌐g├â┬⌐ quipped:
“It’s funny, you know, the left says they really respect women, and then when given an opportunity to respect a woman like that, they boo and hiss. And I always thought the Europeans were supposed to be so sophisticated and well-mannered, and now they’re treating this like it’s a soccer match. I don’t understand what’s going on. I think Ivanka’s supposed to be the moderating voice for her father, so I think people in Europe should support that. I don’t know why, also, saying that, you know, ‘My father respects families’ is controversial. I mean, he’s probably hired a ton of fathers and mothers and children, so I don’t really get what’s going on here. But, uh, I really liked how she was speaking into that microphone.”
So gross. Obviously, fans were NOT happy about the remark as several people took to Twitter to comment on the situation (below).
So on same day Fox News mandates sensitivity training, Jesse Watters oddly praises Ivanka Trump’s technique w mic. pic.twitter.com/rhGlbMZtL6

Jesse Watters did a racist segment about Chinatown: Just fine at Fox News.
Dirty joke about Ivanka Trump: Must walk it back — and quickly.

Watters attempted to squash the budding controversy as he wrote online:
On air I was referring to Ivanka’s voice and how it resonates like a smooth jazz radio DJ. This was in no way a joke about anything else.

Eh. We’re not sure we’re buying this excuse — we mean, The Five host’s mischievous grin and tendency for off-color humor indicates he meant the remark to be sexual. Again, gross.
What do YOU think?? Was Jesse making a dirty joke about the First Daughter??
