Kim Kardashian West is a changed woman!
The reality star gave her first post-Paris robbery interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, talking about how the ordeal has changed her for the better, because she’s not as materialistic anymore.
“I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. Like I’m such a different person. It was meant to happen to me. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things. It was probably no secret, you see it on the show and us being flashy, I was definitely materialistic before. Not that there’s anything bad with having things and working hard to get those things… but I’m so happy my kids get this me…Because I just don’t care about that stuff anymore.”
Wow! Good for her, seriously. There’s nothing wrong with having and wanting nice things, but there’s a limit to everything.
The celeb even walked Ellen through some of the terrifying robbery, explaining:
“Automatically, your stomach dropped. It’s a feeling you can’t even explain. Like, I knew that was it for me. I said a prayer, like, ‘I know I’m going to heaven. I hope my kids are OK, and my husband.’ I don’t want to cry; you’re making me cry. But it does happen really fast. It was a good seven or eight minutes of torture, but when I look back and I analyze it, I’m like, ‘OK, they weren’t aggressive.’ It could have been way worse, so I don’t want to sound like I’m not grateful. I’m out, I’m home, I’m safe, I’m such a better person├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it’s OK. Let’s move on.”
We can only imagine!
“My heart breaks for my mom because I feel like she’s been through so much. [Caitlyn] is promoting this book and she’s saying all these things, and just I don’t think it’s necessary. I just feel like it’s unfair, things aren’t truthful.”
“I think my mom’s been so respectful for so long, and always wanting Caitlyn around and always wanting to have a great relationship with Caitlyn… I’ll always love her. That was my stepdad for so many years.”
