Ja Rule’s Fyre Festival ‘Fully Postponed’ After Concertgoers Arrive To Find A Complete Disaster Site!!

Social media was lit with hysteria on Thursday after news broke that the rich millennials who flew to the Bahamas for Frye Festival arrived to find nothing more than a disaster relief site awaiting them.

Concertgoers expecting a lavish weekend getaway described the festival site as a chaotic, disorganized mess with inadequate transportation, no luxury amenities, and catered meals worse than prison food.

Tickets for the much hyped festival, organized by Ja Rule and entrepreneur Billy McFarland, ranged between $1,000 – $12,000 — with promises of “a cultural moment created from a blend of music, art, and food” on the island of Exuma.

Well, the only movement that ended up happening was being ushered back to the mainland, because organizers announced Friday morning the event would be “fully postponed.”

Organizers said due to the chaos, the best move was to just call it quits — and revealed they were working on scheduling flights for the disappointed concertgoers already on the island. They shared on Twitter:

Wow. Talk about a major bust!

They also elaborated on Instagram, sharing:

Though it seems like organizers had no choice by to throw in the beach towel. Scheduled headliners Blink-182 cancelled their appearance late Thursday — and following acts Migos, Disclosure, and Major Lazer would have most likely followed suit.

Ja Rule hasn’t commented about the disaster, but we think it’s safe to say the rapper won’t be planning more festivals anytime soon.
