J.K. Rowling Apologizes For Killing Off THIS Controversial Harry Potter Character!

Harry Potter fans are probably still upset over this one.

Big time Harry Potter fans know what May 2 marks… the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts.

And true to tradition, author J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to apologize for killing off a character during that fateful scene. In the past, she’s paid tribute to fan favorites Remus Lupin and Fred.

This year, the fantastical Brit chose a more controversial character, but it will still pull at your heartstrings…


Rowling wrote:

Oh poor Severus Snape.

While he wasn’t loved by all, who could forget his portrayal by the late Alan Rickman??

Our hearts are breaking all over again.
