Rosie O’Donnell Pokes Fun At Estranged Daughter’s Claims Of Abuse & Calls Donald Trump ‘Satan’ In GLAAD Speech!

Rosie O’Donnell‘s dysfunctional relationship with her daugher is no laughing matter, but that’s not keeping Rosie from poking fun at the situation!

The comedienne touched on her well-documented troubles with semi-recently married daughter Chelsea Alliegro during a speech at the GLAAD Media Awards over the weekend.

And the speech contained such intimate accusations, the audience was encouraged to do some Google-ing just to figure out just what the 55-year-old was talking about!

Presenting an award to Broadway star Billy Porter, she touched on the explosive interview her 19-year-old daughter gave earlier this week about Rosie’s history of verbal abuse by referencing another infamous Hollywood mother-daughter relationship.

O’Donnell told the crowd:

“Things have been rough in my family in the last week. Let’s just say I feel strongly Joan Crawford was framed.”

For those who haven’t been watching Ryan Murphy‘s Feud, the late silver screen icon had a tumultuous relationship with her adopted daughter Christina Crawford — which was documented in the 1978 memoir Mommie Dearest.

Just like the Crawfords, Rosie’s teen got real about the abuse she was put through over the years, including her mother once allegedly threatening her with a wine bottle.

Chelsea’s accusations were nothing more than joke fodder for the TV personality, who continued in her speech:

“I have an autistic toddler, she’s 4. I would trade every teen in for autistic triplets. Not gonna kill them with a wine bottle├óΓé¼┬ª What? Google on the way home.”

The former View cohost then took aim at another one of her high-profile contentious relationships, her long-running feud with President Donald Trump. She added:

“Why am I here, truthfully? Well, first of all, I’m still vertical after Satan won. That to me is a major accomplishment for someone who suffers from major depressive disorder.”

As part of her obligatory POTUS roasting, Rosie jokingly wrote a text to Trump from the stage, quipping:

“‘Fuck you, Donald. From the gays.’ Sent!”

Ha! We’re glad the comedian can laugh during times of strife — whether personal or shared with the rest of the country!

But things are a bit different on her Instagram page. Last Wednesday, Rosie shared a cryptic post that appeared to address her daughter’s claims of abuse, writing:

We guess Rosie isn’t laughing quite as much once she gets off the stage. Hopefully, things can somehow work out for this estranged family.
