Seth Meyers‘ nightly roasts of Donald Trump‘s administration might not get a response from POTUS himself, but not everyone in that political asshat parade can stay silent after being constantly ripped apart on late night television.
Namely, Paul Ryan, who was apparently so butthurt over Meyers’ take on the GOP’s Health Care reform bill, he sent the Late Night host an email trying to defend himself!
During last Thursday’s “A Closer Look,” Meyers eviscerated the House Speaker for his apparent hypocrisy over the health care debate, showing clips of Ryan condemning Democrats for rushing Obamacare in 2010.
According to Meyers, Ryan contradicted his own fight against congressional injustice by using the same tactics to push the American Health Care Act through the House last week.
Well, apparently, the doe-eyed politician didn’t like that very much, and sent the comedian an email to complain about Thursday’s segment — which Seth picked apart point-by-point during Monday’s taping.
Despite disagreeing with every charge made in the email, Meyers was pleased to provoke a response out of one of Trump’s closest lackeys, and even invited the fitness enthusiast to appear on a future episode of Late Night!
Ha! That’ll be the day! Ch-ch-check out the clip (below).
We would LOVE to see Ryan and Meyers go toe-to-toe IRL! Do U see that happening?
