This is just a sad image.
In another sneak peek at what to expect when the show airs on May 23, the former ABC leading man opens up about “feeling a little empty” ever since Lauren Bushnell moved out, taking all of their furniture with her back to El Lay.
Clearly, his Denver home needs some love considering he admits to only having a TV, a bed (from college), an “uncomfortable” wicker chair, and a whiskey cart. Sadsies.
The BIP alum said of her cohost:
“I’m looking at Ben’s phone right now and there’s a picture of what his family room looks like right now after Lauren moved all her stuff out. And because it’s technically her furniture, she basically took it all except for one mirror on the wall. It just screams heartbroken.”
Well that’s depressing.
“My house and I are feeling very similar: sad, mourning, a little empty. And so I feel like this is a bonding time for my house and I. In all seriousness, it’s really sad. But, I do have my whiskey cart left.”
There’s a bright side for ya…
“I’m currently leaving here today to go furniture shopping. And it’s hard to look around my house now and know that she’s not going to be there. It was hers. She did it for a Joss & Main shoot, and so it is rightfully hers — it should be hers. And that’s okay, but it’s hard now. It’s difficult to have that piece removed.”
More like pieces removed, are we right? …too soon?
When Ashley I. suggested the Indiana native get a dog to ease his loneliness, the 29-year-old quipped:
“I don’t need anything else right now. Right now, commitments and I are staying far apart. Life will be just okay.”
Good luck to ya, bb!
