We have questions, Camila Cabello.
The former Fifth Harmony singer appeared on the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent Tuesday night where she gave a flawless performance of her hit single Crying in the Club.
The performance was so flawless, in fact, Twitter soon began chirping with speculation that Camila was actually lip-syncing!
After the 20-year-old belted out notes while dancing in the middle of some dangerous looking pyrotechnics, skeptics flocked to social media to call the performer out for “blatant miming.”
However, a spokesperson for Mizz Cabello claimed the songstress was singing live, telling Daily Star Online:
“For clarity, there are three vocal parts in every song- the main vocal, background vocals and ad-libs. No one can sing all 3 at once so for live performances, there are pre recorded vocals. In this case Camila clearly sang the main vocals/ ad-libbed fully live. What a compliment that a few people thought it was so good that it couldn’t be live.”
So all those trolls are actually just giving her compliments? Ha!
Ch-ch-check out a clip of the performance — and some Twitter reactions (below) — to see if Camila has anything to cry about!
Of course, Camila’s fans were quick to defend her performance:
Camila SMASHED that BGT performance. Thank god she left the trash that is Fifth Harmony.
