senior writes about pizza application

Well, this is one way to get into college!

A high school senior is making a splash online as her tale about getting accepted to Yale University after writing about pizza has gone viral.

Carolina Williams, a student from Brentwood, TN, was tasked to write about something she loves to do for one prompt from the Ivy League school, and Papa John’s Pizza was the first thing that came to mind.

While talking with AL.com, the 18-year-old explained:

“As soon as I saw the prompt that said, ├óΓé¼╦£Write about what you love to do,’ that was the literally the first thing that came to mind because I just love to order pizza so much.”

However, the shocking thing is, Carolina decided to move forward with the pizza theme and wrote 200 words about her love of ordering from the fast food chain. Don’t believe us??

Take a look at her work (below).

And it seems as though Yale agrees with us as Carolina was accepted to the celebrated university. Not to mention, Williams received a personalized note from an admissions officer alongside her acceptance letter, which read:

“As a fellow lover of pizza, I laughed out loud (then ordered pizza) after reading your application. Yale would be lucky to have you.”

Too funny. We should probably mention that Carolina’s excellent GPA also helped get her into Yale. The college-bound student celebrated her acceptance the only way she knew how — by ordering from Papa John’s Pizza. LOLz!

Although, in a shocking turn of events, Williams will not be attending Yale in the fall as she has decided to attend Auburn University in Alabama instead.

We’re wishing Carolina only the best as she embarks on the next chapter of her academic life!
