TV Reporter Fired After Video Of Her NSFW Rant At Comedy Club Goes Viral!

Well, her TV career is over. Or wait, is Cops still on? Ha!

Colleen Campbell went viral on Tuesday not for breaking the news but for being the news.

In a video already watched over 2 million times on Facebook, the reporter for Philadelphia’s PHL 17 was kicked out of the Helium comedy club for being disruptive during a performance by Craig Robinson.

She then went on an extended NSFW rant about how she wasn’t disruptive, yelling profanity at a police officer after allegedly assaulted multiple employees.

In the vid, she can be seen saying:

“You’re fucking cock suckers. I did not do shit, I stood there and laughed like the rest of the audience like I should. I did not disrupt anybody.”

Charming.

Even after the officer being berated just asks Campbell’s companion to get her out of the area, she can’t drop it, yelling at the cop:

“Or what? Or what, motherfucker? Lick my asshole. How about that? Fucking piece of shit. That’s why nobody likes fucking police.”

After she goes after the manager one more time, mocking (?) spitting on him, the cop finally arrests her.

Here’s the entire rant caught on camera by comedian Wil Sylvince:

About last night: this very obnoxious lady, who wasn’t drunk (nor high I think) was disturbing the show with her “loud whispering”. After 3 warnings and other customers were complaining she was asked to leave. When she got kicked out she assaulted (kicking, punching, and eye poking) 3 of the employees in bar area right outside the showroom and then outside she mock spit in the mangers face when a cop came. She verbally abused this poor cop who was trying to keep the peace at first. The show was great though! Love me some Philly! Thank you #philly #Philadelphia #kickedout #phillycops #whiteprivilege #toddrexx #craigrobinson #wilsylvince #helium #heliumcomedyclub #comedy #getyourassout #lickmyasshole

Ha! Nice hashtagging!

We obviously can neither confirm nor deny Wil’s evaluation that Colleen “wasn’t drunk” — but more on that later!

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Campbell is facing charges of resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

PHL released a statement confirming they had fired the on-air personality after the incident, saying simply:

“Colleen Campbell is no longer employed by PHL 17.”

Campbell has already tried to get out in front of the story, giving an interview to PhillyMag in which she apologized to the officer and said this was not the real her at all:

“That’s not me or how I talk or act or anything at all. I don’t know what to do. I feel ruined and embarrassed for me and my family.”

In fact, she says it’s so unlike her, she believes someone slipped something into her drink. However, she said she chose not to get her blood tested at the police station because it would take too long. Hmm.

So what makes her think she was drugged? She explained:

“Everything was foggy. I do remember coming in to Helium. I do remember getting into an altercation there, but I don’t remember what it was about. I only had two drinks at Helium.”

When the interviewer points out she had said on Facebook that she only had ONE drink, she tweaked her story again, saying she’d had drinks prior to the one at the club:

“Yes, I was working at Devil’s Den. I bartend there. And then we went to Cantina for a margarita, and I had two shots. But that was an hour before. Then we went to Helium, waited in line, got our drinks. I don’t even remember going out to the lobby. I do remember getting into the cop car.”

We aren’t mathematicians or anything, but including Devil’s Den, the Cantina, and Helium, we’re counting at least six drinks in her story.

Campbell did confirm she was let go from PHL 17. In fact, that’s how she found out she had gone viral:

“When I came home, I called my producer to talk about why I was absent. I didn’t realize a video was out. I found out about it later, because HR called me and said I was being terminated. They said there’s a video. I said, ‘What video?'”

See above, girl. Ouch.

What do YOU think of her apology, Perezcious readers??
