Source Claims Contestant Was Too Drunk To Consent To ‘Alleged Sexual Misconduct’ On Bachelor In Paradise — & Producers Did Nothing To Stop It

What a terrible situation.

As we reported, season four of Bachelor In Paradise is suspended (and possibly canceled) for investigation as Warner Brothers looks into “allegations of misconduct” during a drunken pool hookup between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.

A producer came forward with a complaint after learning of an alleged sexual encounter — that was filmed — with a female contestant who was allegedly too intoxicated to consent.

An insider tells People:

“The show absolutely values the primacy of consent, and this instance it appears as though conduct allegedly occurred without the proper consent having been given.”

Another cast member says that two other contestants witnessed the alleged incident — and everyone is upset the crew didn’t do more to stop what happened:

“People are pissed, and not just at DeMario. We’re pissed that this whole thing happened. They could have seen that she was drinking too much and that he was taking advantage. They could have stopped this before it got this far. But they decided to let it go, and let it happen, and see what happened? So, I’m angry at the show, and everyone else is too.”

While the production company revealed there is an ongoing investigation, the outlet claims Mexico’s Sayulita police department had no knowledge of the case when called for comment.

Stay tuned as we learn more.
