Corinne Olympios Has Reportedly Lawyered Up Following Bachelor In Paradise Alleged Sexual Misconduct

DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios

We are so disturbed with the alleged details surrounding the Bachelor In Paradise incident involving DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.

As we reported, production is shut down for the ABC show while Warner Brothers investigates “allegations of misconduct” stemming from a drunken pool hookup on the first day of filming last week.

According to TMZ, sources close to Olympios claim the reality star has lawyered up following the incident during which she was “in a blackout state” — despite other insiders familiar with the footage insisting Corinne seemed “lucid” and “fully engaged.”

The report claims Nick Viall‘s ex remembers nothing about ending up naked in the pool with Jackson — and wasn’t aware of what happened until she was told the next day by fellow cast members.

Apparently, other contestants voiced concern for Corinne’s ability to give consent during the incident, but were dismissed by members of the production crew.

Further, Corinne’s camp is saying she actually has a boyfriend outside of the show, and wouldn’t have engaged in sexual activity with DeMario had she been cognizant of what was going on. It’s said she blames producers, not Jackson, for not protecting her and pulling the plug when things got out of hand.

After taking a glance at Corinne’s mentions on Instagram and Twitter, we think it is extremely important to note that it is NEVER OK to slut shame or blame a possible victim of sexual assault — no matter who they are. It is also important to say that specifics of the misconduct have not been confirmed.

We’ll let you know when we hear more.
