Looks like Wells Adams is ready to weigh in on the drama.
We know what you’re thinking: no, Mr. Adams was never announced as a contestant for this season of the Bachelor spin-off.
However, it appears as though the radio DJ was flown down to join the BIP cast to replace the show’s beloved bartender, Jorge Moreno. Plot twist! Yup, BIP was set to welcome back the season three vet as the new bartender for the Mexican resort. This explains why the fan favorite from JoJo Fletcher‘s season of The Bachelorette penned such a heartfelt note following the dating competition’s suspension.
On Monday, Wells took to Twitter and wrote:
“I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my take on @bachelorinparadise and I can only speak for my own experiences├óΓé¼┬ªso here goes nothin’. Some of the greatest moments of my life happened in Paradise. Some of the greatest people I’ve gotten to spend time with(in front of and behind camera) happened in Paradise. One of the most beautiful and genuine love stories unfolded in front of my eyes in paradise. My heart breaks for those that don’t share the same experiences. Please don’t perceive this as insensitive or accusatory in any way. I’m only describing my journey there and I’d ask before you pass any judgment or say hurtful things to anybody about this, you remember there is a lot unknown and untold. Understand that my perception and experience is only mine to tell, but it’s an honest one and one that I will cherish forever.”
Although Wells wasn’t down in Mexico looking for love, sources dished to E! News that the TV personality was in the middle of forming a special connection with BIP returnee Amanda Stanton just before Warner Brothers pulled the plug on filming.
Of course, Adams’ presence as a bartender in Paradise raises some questions about Moreno’s involvement in the recent scandal…
As you surely know, BIP‘s production has been halted as Warner Brothers investigates a sexual encounter between contestants Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ an encounter where the reality TV starlet may’ve been too intoxicated to give consent. It’s said Jorge was given an “emotional” sendoff on-camera as he was “retiring” from the show in order to start his own business, called Nayarit Uncovered.
Since Wells arrived after the alleged incident took place, it looks like Jorge was the one serving the drinks on the day the “misconduct” occurred. We should also mention that while Moreno was in charge of the bar, the contestants are allowed to serve themselves. Hmmm.
We’re sure this isn’t the last tidbit we’ll learn about what went down in Paradise. Be sure to stay tuned for any and all updates HERE.
