Bachelor contestants are about to become thirstier than ever before!

Producers are making some big changes to Bachelor in Paradise following the sex scandal between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson — specifically, strict drinking rules are in place.

TMZ reports that the ABC reality show is now issuing a 2 drink MAX per hour!

The crew will reportedly be monitoring drinking levels among the cast, as well as the bartenders on set. Sounds fun…

Yup, since they don’t want to blame themselves for not getting ahold of the situation that caused them to stop production, producers are blaming it all on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol!

While discussing the Corinne/DeMario scandal off camera, drinking was reportedly a big talking point within the cast — so now, producers are making sure contestants have access to proper sustenance.

The cast will now be provided food at all times during the shoots, likely to absorb the alcohol and hopefully prevent any hookup situations that could lead to a legal mess.

As of now, it’s working. Production is reportedly a few days in, and nothing crazy has gone down just yet.

We’re glad the contestants’ health is in top consideration, but viewers tune in to watch the champagne-fueled drama unfold — so we’ll see how long this Prohibition in Paradise lasts.

Will you watch a drier BIP?
