Donald Trump‘s feud with Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski isn’t going to die anytime soon.
As we previously reported, the MSNBC stars postponed their Fourth of July vacation in order to address a recent Twitter rant by POTUS where they were the targets. During the tell-all, the twosome accused the president of having an “unhealthy obsession with [their] show” and questioned the 71-year-old’s “mental health.”
The duo also made a bombshell allegation about the Trumpster as they claimed his people offered to kill a National Enquirer story about them having an affair — only IF the TV personalities called Donnie and groveled first. Geez.
On the tabloid story, Mika dished:
“Let me explain what they [the National Enquirer] were threatening. They were calling my children. They were calling close friends and they were pinning the story on my ex-husband [Jim Hoffer] ├óΓé¼┬ª I knew immediately that it was a lie and that they had nothing.”
Still, that didn’t stop Trump’s lackeys from using the story as a bargaining chip to try and convince the two hosts to be easier on the Celebrity Apprentice alum. Scarborough recalled:
“The president is friends with the guy who runs the National Enquirer and they said, ├óΓé¼╦£If you call the president and you apologize for your coverage then he will pick up the phone and basically spike the story.’ I’m not gonna do it. The calls kept coming and kept coming and they were like, ├óΓé¼╦£Call! You need to call! Please call! Come on, Joe. Just pick up the phone and call [Trump].'”
Of course, the president has already taken to Twitter to brand this account as “fake news” as he posted:
Thankfully, Scarborough is refusing to back down as he clapped back with:
Yet another lie. I have texts from your top aides and phone records. Also, those records show I haven’t spoken with you in many months. https://t.co/TZWiElo6Gs

Those are texts we want to read! LOLz!
Now, if you need us, we’ll be over watching Trump’s Twitter page like hawks for any updates. You’re welcome!
