What a scary situation!
The 405 freeway in Orange County, CA shut down in both directions on Friday after a small plane crashed into the highway. WHAT??
It’s said the aircraft made a crash landing around 9:30 a.m. just north of MacArthur Boulevard near the John Wayne Airport. According to a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, two people were onboard a Cessna 310 when it crash landed on the freeway “under unknown circumstances.”
While the condition of the two passengers is currently not known, it’s believed they are alive and well. Nonetheless, eyewitnesses to the scene shared images of the crash, which showed the plane engulfed in flames. Yikes!
Take a look at footage from the crash for yourself (below)!
